Join NEXTSF and our colleagues at Square as we celebrate San Francisco’s Vacant to Vibrant program, which is revitalizing the downtown core by turning empty storefront spaces into lively local business pop-ups!

In this citywide online forum, we will present Vacant to Vibrant businesses owners who will share their origin story, ad tell us about their products or services.

We will be joined by a spokesperson from the Vacant to Vibrant program who will share updates on the latest activations. A representative from Square will explain how Square is integrating their services to assist these small businesses.

Join us on May 7, 2024 at 4 pm for this online forum, sponsored by our friends at Lime, where we’ll focus on security issues and crime affecting small businesses in San Francisco. Our panelists* from SOMA, Chinatown, Bayview, and the Fillmore, will each give ‘state of the neighborhood’ presentations.

Our special guest is San Francisco District Attorney, Brooke Jenkins.

We’ll discuss ways in which small business owners can provide a secure environment for their employees and customers, and what the DA’s office is doing to help combat crime in our merchant corridors.

I am a passionate Legacy and innovative small business advocate with deep roots in the SF community!

As an immigrant from Greece, growing up in my father’s store in the Mission, I gained a good foundation in customer service, small business, and community.

After graduating from UC Berkeley, I co-founded a design/furniture store, Zinc Details. After 27 years, I moved on and became the Executive Director of the Fillmore Merchants Association and the Director of Business Development at SFCDMA.

In 2020 I started NEXTSF – an agency that creates private/public partnerships to promote small business and neighborhood merchant corridors through enhanced online forums and in-person community forums/events!
